Request for Information (RFI) Issued By Canadian Administrator of Video Relay Service (CAV)

Canadian Administrator of Video Relay Service (CAV), Inc. is a new not‐for‐profit corporation that has been mandated by the Canadian Radio‐television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to design, implement and oversee the delivery of video relay service (VRS) in Canada.

 

The following Request for Information (RFI) was issued by CAV to all Video Interpreter Providers:

Update from the AVLIC Staffing Task Force

The AVLIC Board is pleased to announced that through our consultation with CAD-ASC, Wayne Nicholson has been selected to be part of the AVLIC Staffing Task Force.

Hello members,

Your AVLIC Board is in the process of finalizing the AVLIC 2018 conference host. In an announcement and e-mail sent July 14, 2015 we announced that unfortunately the Saskatchewan group is no longer able to host the conference. 

 

Industry Representatives Advisory Panel (IRAP) Meeting 

Update as of August 17, 2015:

The IRAP meeting, originally scheduled for September 2015, has been rescheduled for November 2015 due to the federal election. The feedback and questions sent to AVLIC (as a result of the notice below) will be addressed with PWGSC in November.
