Becoming a Subscriber
Thank you for your interest in supporting AVLIC! While AVLIC membership is reserved for working interpreters and students training to become interpreters, AVLIC offers subscription service so that others (i.e. employers of interpreters, agencies, Deaf community members, interpreter education program coordinators etc.) can receive announcements and current information about the Association and the profession.
Here is some general information about AVLIC's subscription service:
Each subscription term run concurrently with AVLIC's membership year, April 1st to March 31st annually. New subscriptions can be processed at any time of the year, but subscriptions fees will not be pro-rated.
All subscriptions must be renewed by the next March 31st.
Dual Subscription Required
All subscribers are required to subscribe to AVLIC and at least one (1) AVLIC Affiliate Chapter of their choice.
Benefits Given to a Subscriber
Benefits given to subscribers include:
- Inclusion on the AVLIC & Affiliate Chapter(s) e-mail distribution lists
- Invitation to attend AVLIC & Affiliate Chapter(s) meetings as a guest (no voting rights)
- Serve on an AVLIC committee. Affiliate Chapter(s) may also allow subscribers to serve on a committee; contact chapter for details.
- Access to the AVLIC members only section of website
Cost to Subscribe
The cost to subscribe depends on which Affiliate Chapter(s) you choose.

Looking to Renew your Subscription?
Current memberships and subscription services can be renewed beginning January 1 and must be renewed by midnight of March 31 annually.
