Guelph Museums and Bodies in Translation: Activist Art, Technology and Access to Life co-present Into the Light: Eugenics and Education in Southern Ontario. 
 
Into the Light: Eugenics and Education in Southern Ontario is a new multi-sensory exhibition at the Guelph Civic Museum that brings southern Ontario’s hidden history of eugenics and survival to light. Into the Light runs from September 14, 2019 until March 1, 2020. 
 
The exhibition programming includes two free public events that will both have ASL Interpretation and CART Live Captioning. Join us for the opening celebration on Friday, September 27 at 6pm. And on Saturday, October 26 at 2pm for a conversation with the exhibition co-curators Mona Stonefish, Peter Park, Dolleen Tisawii’ashii Manning, Evadne Kelly, Seika Boye and Sky Stonefish. The Museum is also offering guided tours of the exhibit for groups. If you would like to arrange a tour, please contact museum.bookings@guelph.ca in advance of your group visit.
