CES Phase One: Written Test of Knowledge
The next offering of the Written Test of Knowledge (WTK) is Saturday, November 28, 2020.
Registration deadline is Monday, October 19, 2020.
The offering of the WTK is typically on a Saturday. We are able to conduct the test on the Friday of the same weekend if you are unable to do so on the Saturday due to religious reasons. We will try our best to accommodate. To make these arrangements, please contact the CASLI office at casli@casli.ca
The registration fee for the WTK is $125.
There is a 10% discount offered for those who have taken the test in the past and have not been successful. This discount does not apply to those with lapsed membership or those who have had their CES revoked.

How To Register
To register, please complete the following steps:
- go to the CASLI website (avlic.ca)
- hover your mouse over the blue MEMBERS ONLY tab at the far right
- click on Canadian Evaluation System from the dropdown menu
- scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Phase One: Written Test of Knowledge (WTK)
- scroll to the bottom of the page to the tan coloured box and click Register for Phase One*
- proceed with the registration method of your choice (online or by mail)
Other Important Information
In order for your registration to be accepted by the CASLI office, your WTK test fees must be received by midnight (PST), Monday, October 19, 2020 either by PayPal or cheque. If you have mailed payment to the CASLI office, please email casli@casli.ca to make the CASLI office aware of your intent to register for the WTK along with when payment was mailed.
