Thank You to the AVLIC 2014 Conference Planning Committee!

Many thanks to the AVLIC 2014 Conference Planning Committee for all your hard work and dedication over the past four years! AVLIC 2014 was a great success and we were all thrilled to be able to revisit beautiful Winnipeg, Manitoba, 35 years after the inaugural AVLIC conference in the same city!

 

With the Canadian Museum for Human Rights set to open in Winnipeg in September 2014, the theme of the conference: Interpreters and Human Rights could not have been more well chosen. Thank you for creating an environment where we could all think about our roles in ensuring human rights are respected at every opportunity.

 

Special thanks to conference co-chairs Bonnie Heath and Terry Janzen for your leadership with the talented committee coordinators and volunteers.  It is no easy feat to stay on top of all the aspects of an event like this. Thanks too to all the committee coordinators:
