Message from the Executive Director
Hello AVLIC Members,
I would like inform you that AVLIC's current Administrative Assistant Julie Hoas's contract ends this week. Julie's last day of work will be today, July 28, 2017. On behalf of AVLIC, I would like to thank Julie for her hard work and dedication to AVLIC over the past year and half. We have enjoyed working together very much. I also wish Julie the best of luck in her future endeavours.
Beginning August 8, 2017 AVLIC will be served by a new Administrative Assistant, Sally Scheel. Sally is from Ontario and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to AVLIC. Please feel free to extend a warm welcome to Sally!

Message from the Incoming Administrative Assistant
My name is Sally; I am Deaf and I live in Ontario. I have many Deaf family members, whom also live in Ontario. I have extensive administrative experience. I formally worked for a non-profit agency where I was responsible for, among other things, booking screenings, office work, networking and coordinating meetings.I am happy to have the opportunity to offer my skills and knowledge to AVLIC.
I would like to thank AVLIC for this opportunity. I would also like to thank the following people who were part of the hiring committee:
