I am reaching out to you from Cuso International. We are a non-profit international development organization, working to improve the lives of people living with poverty and inequality around the globe. Each year we mobilize hundreds of volunteer professionals who work with local partners to create positive, lasting change.

We’re looking for a Communications & American Sign Language Specialist who can volunteer in Jamaica with our partner for 12 months. The overall purpose would be to help our partner (DeafCan) in creating a more inclusive environment & society for the deaf community in Jamaica and enhance DeafCan’s sustainability as a social enterprise.

We cover the costs of flights, accommodation, medical expense, and we provide the volunteer with a monthly stipend so that they won’t be paying out of pocket while abroad.
