As mandated at the recent AGM, the Board will be hosting an online election on Friday October 12 through Saturday, October 13, 2018.  Please mark these dates in your calendars!  We are still working through the logistics of the platform and electronic voting and will send instructions as we get closer. 
 
Today we are asking for you to think about the leadership of CASLI and who you would like to see represent you. CASLI is comprised of members with diverse heritages, lived experiences, and intersectionalities. The Association needs representation of all our members on the Board. Diverse perspectives at the Board table will benefit everyone. 
 
If you have not historically felt represented by the composition of the Board, please consider putting forward a nomination. 
 
You may self-nominate or nominate another CASLI Active Member. Think about members who you feel would contribute to your board, the experience and viewpoints you want to see in your representatives. 
 
We remind you that all positions are up for nomination. 
 
Nominations must include:

• Nominations Form
• Biography (no more than 300 words or 3 minutes in ASL)
• Platform (no more than 300 words or 3 minutes in ASL)

 
Please note, the biography and the platform must be submitted in both ASL and English.
 
Please ensure that the ASL is clearly visible in video format.  No editing will be done to the biography or platform. Nominators name may be published. 
 
Nominations must be submitted by October 3, 2018 – after this date, no nominations will be accepted.
