We wanted to apologize as the previous email may have been a bit confusing. This is our first time doing the wine survivor fundraiser across Canada as we usually do it locally.
We are going to change it a bit. We will no longer be doing a gift card or bottle of wine, instead to enter the contest, there will be a fee of 25 dollars. Each immunity will be 5 dollars (maximum of 3), and must be purchased prior to the first draw. The goal of the contest is to remain in the game, so you don't want your name drawn! The last 3 people remaining in the draw win!! The prizes will be given as a gift card to the appropriate liquor store as each province has a different one! The amount will depend on the amount of participants.
No immunity- $25
One immunity- $30
Two immunities- $35
Three immunities-$40 (Best chance at winning)!

Hello!
Winter is here, we've emptied the wine/booze cellar and there are still many months of snow ahead. Time for a chance to fill it back up with the Wine Survivor fundraiser for the Canadian Deaf Women Conference being held in Halifax, July 2021.
It would be nice to see Deaf women from your community attend this unique and remarkable conference. Our goal is to reduce the cost for Deaf Women so it makes it more affordable to attend.
To take part in this awesome event, you'll need to drop off one Liquor Gift Card for $15.00 (or we can pick one up for you!) before February 3, 2019, along with $10.00 cash. Etransfer is accepted at monctondeafwomen@hotmail.com. (See flyer) It's for across Canada, not just the province only.
Wine Survivor is a reverse draw - the last three standing win the booze! First place winner (last name drawn) gets half of the "booze / liquor gift card" while the 2nd and 3rd place winners gets 1/4 / of the wine/booze/Gift card each. Everyday, starting February 4th, we will draw X names (depending on how many people we have in total to start with) out of the pot. If your name is drawn you have lost your chance to win the booze. We will let you know when the final draw is after everyone signs up. Jill Wood will be the leader for this fundraising.
Want to increase your odds of winning? In true Survivor spirit, there will be immunity - for $5, you can add on 1 immunity, which means your name is returned to the pot should it be drawn. A max of three immunities can be purchased per person. Immunity must be purchased at time of registration. You CAN NOT purchase immunity once the Booze Survivor begins. More people participating in Booze Survivor means more booze/$$ Gift Card to be won, so be sure to share the event with your friends and family! The results will be posted via email daily by day end of the day.
