The next offering of the Written Test of Knowledge (WTK) is April 12, 2014.

The test is offered four times a year on the third Saturday of Januay, April, July and November, or by special offering with a minimum of five test takers. The date for this offering is Saturday, April 12, 2014 and offering locations will be determined by the applicant's addresses or preferences.

Last Chance to Respond to the CRTC About VRS in Canada (NOC 2013-155)

The Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunication Commission (CRTC) hearing for "Issues related to the feasibility of establishing a Video Relay Services (VRS)" took place October 21 − 25, 2013, in Gatineau, Québec. With the hearing concluded, the next step is final submissions (interventions).

Who?

All AVLIC e-mail accounts, included all Board of Director accounts, all Standing Committee accounts and all staff accounts.

What?

Will be offline and will not be able to send nor receive messages during the outage.  

When?

Beginning Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 11:00am PST. The outage is expected to be for 12 - 24 hours; having all accounts online again by noon PST on Monday, November 11, 2013.

Where?

Canada

The next offering of the Test of Interpretation (TOI) is March 1, 2014.
